Your brothers in the bond and former brothers
in the bond from the suspended Pennsylvania Theta Chapter of
Phi Delta Theta at Penn State need your help. As you may have
heard, the five members of our General Council suspended our
charter and expelled all of our undergraduates along with myself,
our Alumni Corporation President, because we planned to debate
their Mandated Alcohol-Free Housing Policy at the 2008 General
Convention this week... Full

On March 31, 2008, six former members of the Pennsylvania
Theta Chapter of Phi Delta Theta at Penn State, filed a lawsuit against the
Phi Delta Theta International Fraternity, seeking an injunction to set aside
an illegal suspension of the Penn State Chapter. The lawsuit alleges that the
General Council of Phi Delta Theta did not follow their own Constitution and
General Statutes, the official laws that govern the fraternity, when they suspended
the Penn State Chapter. Full

It's official, the Actives of PA Theta
set the standard as they rally and restore PA
Theta to her former glory!
Submitted 7/15/07 by Kevin Haslam '10
It's now the end of the third year of our
5-year Return to Glory Campaign and the proof is in, our Actives
have done the impossible and saved PA Theta. They recruited 45
new Freshmen Pledges in just the last 4 semesters. They
rebuilt our house almost doubling its capacity and just passed
the best fire inspection in years. They took control of
our finances and almost doubled our income to over $265,000 this
year with a projected profit for the first time in over seven
years. They have 45 signed housing contracts for next fall -
the most in over 15 years!

EA SPORTS selects PA Theta for starring role in NCAA
Football 2007 Video Game!
Hey, aren’t you guys in NCAA 2007?!”
Submitted 07/15/07
Every year, EA Sports travels around college
campuses to film cameo videos of the student body supporting
their college football teams. Last year, PA Theta got a surprise
visit from the popular video game company. As the actives were
preparing to go to a home game against Wisconsin in the Fall
of 2005, the crew approached them and asked them if they wanted
to be “In the Game!” (the
popular slogan that the franchise uses).

Submitted 07/15/07
We've always had the talent to win individual
events in the past, but this is the first year we've had the
manpower to compete in all events.
“We tried to win it all. That
meant getting involved in more than just the float and mad
hatter. That meant doing things like Nittany Pursuit and Air
Band,” Homecoming Chair Dave Dunn explained. Full

Headquarters initially promised to try and give us a full page,
but now it seems they may cut it to 150 words, so we decided
to post it on the site.
