Our Actives are excited about Homecoming this year!
It's a chance to show off some of the ongoing projects around the
house and to bond with alumni during the weekend festivities. The
Homecoming game will be the Nitany Lions versus the Iowa Hawkeyes
in a Big Ten Conference match-up. The kick-off time is still to
be determined. It will be great time to renew old friendships and
make new ones.
The Phi's are teamed with the Theta Alpha Pi sorority
this year and their theme is Cereal Characters. They have been holding
numerous meetings in the new Phi Board Room to plot their winning
strategy for this year. In 2002, the Phi Delts were 2nd overall
in the homecoming competition - missing 1st by 6/10 of a point.
They came in 3rd in 2003 with a 4th place overall finish. They won
3rd in the float competition and were 2nd in the mad hatter competition.
This year, they plan on winning homecoming! Be at the house on Friday
evening to welcome the float back to the house at the end of the
parade!

Stop by in the afternoon and watch
the guys put the finishing touches on the float. Be sure to
be there at the end of the parade, about 8:00pm, when the guys
pull the float into the front yard. Friends and family welcome
all day! Just don't expect too much chatting from the actives
- they are going to be putting finishing touches on the float
until the last minute!

Sandy "go big or stay at
home" Deveney '70 has teamed up with Susan Shields and
Bill Corbett '88 and their Urban Assault Vehicle to host the
official Phi Delta Theta tailgate.

Yes, Homecoming dinner at the house,
just like old times. This is your chance to get a taste of Sharon's
great cooking! Friends and family are welcome to attend the
dinner which will consist of a Pig Roast, top round beef, mashed
potatoes, corn and a dessert platter. To assist in our planning,
please use the form below to let us know how many people you
plan to bring. We are asking $25 per person to help with the
costs. Kids under 12 eat free. |

We cannot emphasize enough how
critical this meeting is. This is your chance to get involved,
support the actives, and help chart the course of our fraternity.
Committees will be formed and critical decisions will be made
concerning the future of Pennsylvania Theta. Friends and family
are welcome and encouraged to attend; however, only alumni
can vote.
Breakfast will be served from 9:00am - 10:00pm. The meeting
starts at 10:00am.
Please note that the meeting is on Sunday
morning this year instead of Saturday morning as it
has been in the past.
