Support PA Theta!
Homecoming is a time for reunion. A time for tailgating.
A time to watch your Nittany Lions fight on towards greatness.
But it's also a time to return to your roots. A
time to return to Phi Delt, where many of us formed unforgettable
memories, learned valuable lessons, and developed into men. So
please join us, reminiscing of years past, and anticipating and
learning about the great things that are soon to come.

| Our Active Management Team warming-up
for the Blue-White '06 Stockholders Meeting |
Sunday
Morning
Stockholders Meeting
8:30am Lite Breakfast & Coffee
9:00am Stockholders Meeting
11:00am Alumni Corp Meeting
Location: In the Cybertorium of the
IST Building adjacent to our property
On Saturday morning of Homecoming weekend,
the Actives of most other fraternities at Penn State will be
busy doing what our Actives typically did
on this day - sleep through their chapter's Alumni Corporation
Meeting.
In very sharp contrast, the Actives of the
new Pennsylvania Theta along with their recent graduate advisors
and mentors will be preparing for one of the most important
events of their college careers - the Homecoming 2007
Stockholders Meeting
|
| At our Homecoming '05
Stockholders Meeting, our Co-Rush Chairmen
Paul Silber '06, Mike Bernabe '07, and Guy Bacco '07 present
their Rush Program that netted a record 20 new Freshmen Pledges
and set the bar for all future Rush Programs |
This is their day to shine. In the last 3 years, our Actives
have done what everyone said was impossible and saved our fraternity - and
they can't wait to tell you about it. They will be presenting the State of
PA Theta covering all aspects of our chapter including a complete
financial report of all our organizations.
|
| Randy Thompson '83 and Bill Overlock
'63 meet with the Actives to review their Blue/White '06 Stockholders presentation |
|
 |
|
| Sandy Deveney '70, Bud Thomas '49 and
the gang outside the Cybertorium just prior to the start of the Blue/White
'06 Stockholders Meeting |
|
They will also
be presenting their plan for the remaining 2 years of our 5-year
Return to Glory Campaign to ensure we emerge as the top Fraternity
on the Penn State campus with a comprehensive Chapter Management
Plan in place to keep us there!

| Jack Cosgrove '38 and other distinguished
PA Theta Alumni watch and listen to our Active Leaders during the Blue/White
'06 Stockholders presentation |
But wait, there's more...
Our Actives need and deserve your support.
If at all possible, please attend the Stockholders Meeting Sunday
morning. It will mean a lot to our Actives, they've been preparing
for this day for 3 years.
Our Stockholders Meetings are now part
of our culture and a key component of our new Chapter Management
Plan. Just by attending one
meeting, you will know exactly how our chapter is doing. Our
Actives want and need your knowledge, expertise, support and
input. Alumni attendance is critical for our continued success
- please join us if at all possible.
Meeting
Location and a little History...

| The new IST Building
sits directly adjacent to our House. It's designed to
be the future center-point of campus as the campus expands
westward, making our property the most valuable property
on the entire Penn State Campus |
If you haven't been back to Penn Sate for
a while, one of the first things that will shock you is the brand
new IST (Information Sciences and Technology) building that sits
directly adjacent to our property. The IST building is designed
to be the center point of the Penn State campus and is why our
property is so valuable - now one of the most, if not the most
valuable property on the Penn State Campus.

| Vice President Elliott
Skrinjar '05 performs a systems test during a dry-run of
our Homecoming '04 presentation |
Just prior to Homecoming '04, Alumni Corporation
President, Randy Thompson '83, asked Active
Chapter Vice President, Elliott Skrinjar '05 to
locate a screen and projector for the planned Homecoming Alumni
Corporation presentation. Elliott, an IST major, had just listened
to a presentation by Michael Dell in the brand new, sate-of-the-art
Cybertorium in the IST Building. Elliott thought this new
high-tech venue might be a great location for our meetings and
pitched the idea to his professor, Dr. Gerry Santoro. As it turns
out, Dr. Santoro (a Penn State alum) was very familiar with our
situation and gladly volunteered the Cybertorium for our meeting,
stating something to the effect: “I was really happy
that you guys were able to keep your house. I remember when I
was in college and would come over to the Phi Delt house. I always
had a great time over there.”
Thanks Dr. Santoro and Penn State!
